British Columbia’s vaccination campaign is focusing on the Whistler community of 13,000 people, moving to get them vaccinated after it was found to be the centre of a COVID-19 outbreak, hoping it will help the resort area recover ahead of summer tourism season.

The province reported over 3,000 cases of COVID-19 in the past three days, and 18 deaths due to the virus.
