As B.C. continues to deal with recovery and clean up from that torrential rain storm, more active weather is on its way to the province.

Environment and Climate Change Canada’s warning preparedness meteorologist, Armel Castellan said Monday afternoon that they are forecasting relative normal precipitation on Monday, but there's a "relatively good certainty” for an atmospheric river to occur during a larger weather event on Thursday

"Forty to 70 millimetres is a fairly high likelihood to occur and of course there are going to be certain regions that are more accentuated for that precipitation that are going to maybe see that upper end...over a hundred millimetres is possible in the North Shore Mountain," Castellan said.

Yet another atmospheric river is triggering new concerns about rain and possible flooding on both the North and South Coast.

Environment Canada has issued a slew of winter storms, wind and rain warnings, along with special weather statements for Haida Gwaii and the North and Central coasts as the system brings tropical moisture to the area.
