Ukrainian soldiers fighting one of the largest armies in the world are often having to use outdated equipment.
Some of it dates back to the Cold War.
Battlefield commanders have told Al Jazeera that if Ukraine’s allies provided fighter jets, the soldiers could go home to their families sooner.
