Anti-police brutality protests continued in Nigeria on Oct. 22 as President Muhammadu Buhari called for an end to demonstrations and engage with government.

He did not, however, address the shooting of protesters that took place Tuesday, but called on the international community, which has expressed concern over the incident, to "know all facts."

Residents also expressed concern Thursday over the financial impact of the ongoing curfew, which was imposed in an effort to contain the anger over a crackdown on the protests.
