The traditional ‘banana derby’, in which two Capuchin monkeys race around a track tied to dogs' backs for the coveted prize of some of their favourite fruit, has sparked a BACKLASH from animal-rights activists this year. They gathered at the entrance of the fair in Broward County, South Florida to protest about the cruel nature of the event.
