As part of the annual 'barbaric' tradition of killing dolphins, about 1500 dolphins were killed on the Faroe Islands in Denmark. Photos and videos from the weekend event showed the water and shoreline red with blood from dead dolphins. There has been a sharp reaction from animal activists on this.
