The number of women in the workforce has never been higher, leading the economic recovery from the pandemic. Some are calling this a "she-covery."
"We saw three times more unemployed women than we saw before the pandemic. There were less women participating in the labour force," David-Alexandre Brassard, Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Chief Economist, said.
As Global's Anne Gaviola explains, there are a lot of factors that are allowing women, especially working parents, to get into the workforce or stay on the job.
