Two members of the Royal Canadian Air Force are feared dead and two others are injured after a Chinook helicopter crashed in the Ottawa River, near the Garrison Petawawa army base.

The aircraft was on a training flight when it went down just after midnight.

Mercedes Stephenson reports on the search and recovery mission and the gap in communication between the military and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on what happened.
