In Peru, the government has declared a five-day curfew in 15 regions across the country.
That comes after the Supreme Court's decision to keep former President Pedro Castillo in detention for the next 18 months.
At least 14 people have been killed in week-long protests that were sparked by the country's political crisis.
Al Jazeera's Mariana Sanchez reports from Lima, Peru.
