After the Canadian government issued fresh sanctions against Russia on Sunday, following the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny last month, Ukraine is calling for more help.

The country’s most populated city, Odesa, was bombarded with yet another Russian drone strike on Saturday, leaving at least 10 dead.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested in a nightly address that if weapons from Western allies weren’t delayed, that it may have ended differently.

Canada’s latest sanctions target six Russian officials connected to the punishment and death of Navalny. Global’s Abigail Bimman has the details.
