Western allies vow action if Russia uses chemical weapons in Ukraine

As concerns rise over Russia potentially using chemical weapons in Ukraine, NATO leaders warn they will take action that will bring "widespread consequences" against Moscow if it crosses that line.

The U.S. has been warning for weeks now Russia could be planning a chemical weapons attack in Ukraine.

It's now set up a so-called "tiger team" - a group of security experts at the ready should chemical, biological or nuclear weapons be deployed.
