A new international study by the World Health Organization (WHO) has found working longer hours could be shortening lives.

According to the study, those working over 55 hours per week are more likely to face premature death later on, with a 35 per cent greater risk of stroke and 17 per cent greater risk of heart disease compared to those who worked 35-40 hours a week.

And as Jamie Mauracher reports, the stress of working in the pandemic could be exacerbating the issue even further.
