A deadly collision in Mississauga, Ont., last Thursday that claimed the life of a motorcyclist near Dundas Street East and Dixie Road is being investigated by Peel police, and a witness to the crash wants to know why 911 was difficult to reach.
Maria Barros was driving home when she witnessed a serious crash between an SUV and a motorcycle last week.
The motorcyclist tragically succumbed to his injuries, a moment that Barros says has left an indelible mark. Barros says she tried 911 four times, but that it wasn't until minutes later that an operator called back. By that point, she says paramedics were already on scene and it was too late.
Global’s Shallima Maharaj has the details.
