Vancouver police say a woman posing as a nurse at a Vancouver hospital has been arrested.

Brigitte Cleroux, 49, worked at BC Women’s Hospital between June 2020 and June 2021, police said Friday.

Police allege she provided care to patients at the hospital while assuming the identity of a real nurse.

It was not immediately clear how many patients Cleroux attended to in Vancouver, what duties or services she carried out, or whether there were any adverse outcomes related to her work.
