The woman who shared an allegation of inappropriate behaviour by Gen. Jonathan Vance with the military ombudsman in 2018 says she had hoped the matter would be handled discreetly.
Global News has agreed to protect her identity because she fears career reprisals.
She says she brought the allegation forward hoping Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan would “deal with it at an appropriate time and perhaps reconsider how Operation Honour was commanded.”
Mercedes Stephenson has more on the 2012 email at the centre of the allegation.
