Social media company Meta has introduced new parental controls on Instagram. But as discussed on The Morning Show, can they keep kids safe?

Tech expert Carmi Levy joined us to discuss how the new controls aim to better protect kids using social media. He said parents could see statistics on how long their children are using each social media app, contact lists, privacy settings, additional timing tools, and more.

Plus, Levy also details the latest scam involving free smartwatches that are turning up on people's doorsteps. Where are these scam smartwatches sending all your data? While experts aren't 100 per cent sure, it's likely they could go to a scammer.
