10-year-old Mikhail Yakorev sent a letter to Vladmir Putin to ask why Russia seems so unpopular when he watches the news, and got an answer.

The youngster from Kursk who loves following the headlines was worried about how his home country is reported.

In his annual Q&A, Putin assured the boy that Russia is in fact loved by lots of people around the world, and has many stable and friendly relationships with other countries.
