Many are asking what is next for the Sheikh Jarrah area of occupied East Jerusalem, and the people who live there now that the escalation of violence has halted.
Attempts to expel Palestinian residents was one of the key flashpoints that led to the latest conflict.
Lawyers trying to prevent the eviction of the Palestinian residents from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood appeared to be upbeat this week after the Israeli attorney general became involved.
