Tuesday is the Israeli Supreme Court's deadline for Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah, facing forced eviction, to present their positions on a compromise.
The top court has proposed a deal that recognises a Jewish settler organisation as the landowner while allowing the families to stay in their homes for 15 years and continue their fight to be recognised as the rightful owners.
