The already-tumultuous 2024 U.S. presidential election campaign has taken a twist, because the Colorado Supreme Court has removed former president Donald Trump from that state's primary ballot.

Trump has vowed to appeal the decision all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, where a conservative majority could overturn the disqualification.
