She’s the only monarch living Canadians have known – Queen Elizabeth II. And during a 70-year reign as Canada’s head of state, the Queen’s name was deeply entrenched in Canada’s identity.

At Woodbine racetrack, where on four occasions the Queen attended one of the most famous races — The Queen’s Plate — it’s the oldest, continuously-run races in North America dating back to 1860.
