Wellingborough by-election: Tories will have to 'fight for every single vote', says minister

Mel Stride, the work and pensions secretary, says the Wellingborough by-election is "all to play for" and the Conservatives will "fight for Peter's seat".

Peter Bone, who has been the MP for Wellingborough in Northamptonshire since 2005, was found by parliament to have subjected a staff member to bullying and sexual misconduct - allegations he denies.

Mr Stride also discussed the Rwanda scheme, saying he has "absolutely no doubt that as and when we get to the point where we're ready to send people on planes to Rwanda, planes will be available".
