The humanitarian situation is worsening in both the north and south. At least 12,300 Palestinians have been killed since October 7th.
In the past few days we've been hearing about the increasing intensity of Israeli air strikes in the south of the Gaza strip.
It's an area the army had originally told people to move to for their own safety, as they carried out attacks on the North.

A mother and her daughter from Khan Younis gave this account about surviving an air strike that hit their home.
