WATCH: Rep. Pressley questions Secret Service director at hearing on attempted Trump assassination

Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., questioned Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle in a House Oversight hearing Monday on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a July 13 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Echoing her fellow lawmakers on the House committee, Pressley said the timeline laid out for the final report – and lack of answers at the hearing – was not acceptable.

Pressley also slammed Republicans for targeting women, people of color and other marginalized groups as a factor in the failed response to the assassination attempt.
