New York Rep. Elise Stefanik spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Tuesday, a day that leading Republicans and other featured attendees were focused on the themes of safety and immigration.

Stefanik spoke about the recent demonstrations on university campuses held to protest the war in Gaza. She said Trump will continue to stand strong with Israel.

“President Trump will bring back moral leadership to the White House, condemning antisemitism, and standing strong with Israel and the Jewish people,” Stefanik said. “President Trump will once again deliver the most secure border in our nation's history and unleash the American economy, and he will bring peace through strength as commander-in-chief standing with our allies and causing our enemies to fear us.”

During the convention, delegates will adopt a party platform and former President Donald Trump will formally accept the Republican nomination for president. On Monday, Trump named Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate.
