Rescue efforts continue in Gaziantep, Turkey as hundreds remain trapped following a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.

At least 4,700 people have died and thousands injured in Turkey and Syria.

Search efforts in Turkey were hampered by the cold weather overnight and families who are now homeless were forced to gather around fires, wrapped in blankets, to stay warm, while the long-running civil war in Syria complicates rescue efforts there.
