Watch live: MPs in the House of Commons debate the Rwanda Bill

Today is a crucial day for Rishi Sunak's premiership... at 7pm, MPs will vote on his emergency legislation designed to address the reasons the Supreme Court ruled the plan unlawful.

While centrist MPs have indicated they are likely to vote in favour of advancing the bill in the Commons, right-wing MPs could abstain, or even vote against.

If Mr Sunak loses the vote, he will be the first prime minister to have a bill voted down at the second reading since 1986.
