A man who was the victim of an armed carjacking in Markham, Ont., is speaking out about his harrowing experience after police released video of the dramatic takedown of the suspects.
“The gun he pointed at my stomach is loaded – so I’m glad I’m still alive,” the man, who did not want to be identified, said.
An 18-year-old man and a male youth, from Toronto, were charged with a number of offences including two counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of disguise with intent, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, dangerous operation and flight from police.
