A petition is picking up steam looking to return privacy to the famous Wreck Beach in Vancouver, B.C.

The beach has long been a popular spot for beachgoers, where clothing and bathing suits are optional.

The petition said large logs at the beach have been replaced by much smaller logs.

And as Global's Paul Johnson reports, the old logs provided beachgoers a barrier from weather, and more importantly, people who could be interpreted as “peeping toms.”
