Republican and Democratic leaders in the United States Senate have agreed to a timeline for the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump that begins on Tuesday, said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Trump's lawyers are denying the charge that the then-President incited his supporters to storm Capitol Hill.
They are also arguing it is unconstitutional to hold a trial for a former president.
But Democrats prosecuting Trump say he has no valid defence.
