The National Guard and other security forces are prominent in Washington DC, as roadblocks and secure areas are set up ahead of Joe Biden’s inauguration. Officials have authorized around 25,000 troops to assist the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies to maintain civil order in the week of the ceremony.
