Millions of Americans are dealing with severe weather in the U.S. Midwest, where days of torrential rain have caused catastrophic flooding in communities across at least four states.

It’s expected to get worse before it gets better, as there are more storms in the forecast.

As Global’s Jackson Proskow reports, residents are hoping an eventual break in the weather will begin the Midwest’s long road to recovery.
