Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and election officials spoke Friday about the ongoing ballot count in the city as Pennsylvania continues to be watched for election results in the presidential election, with Kenney saying the votes would continue to be counted until every valid ballot, mail-in, provisional and absentee ballot is counted.

Kenney also criticized President Donald Trump and others for "baseless claims" of voter fraud, stating that there has been "not one iota" of evidence has been produced by Trump's team.

Lisa Deeley, chair of the city commissions, thanked people for their patience as the goal is to ensure accuracy. She said they had seen the largest amount of mail-in ballots in the city's history. She said at some point Friday afternoon, more mail-in ballots will be reported. The remaining ballots fall into three categories: those that require review, provisionals, and U.S. military/overseas ballots. She stressed results are not officially certified until 20 days after the election.
