U.S. President Donald Trump accepted no responsibility for last week's deadly riot at the Capitol and called the impeachment against him a “hoax” and a “witch hunt” in his first public appearance in a border town in Texas since his supporters stormed the Capitol building.
As hundreds of criminal cases are underway in Washington in an enormous investigation with charges ranging from trespassing to murder following the deadly Capitol siege, the FBI is now warning of plans for armed protests at all 50 state capitals and in Washington, D.C., in the days leading up to President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.
