President Joe Biden is ordering immigration officials to deny asylum seekers entry to the US. The number of people seeking asylum at the US-Mexico border is at record levels.

But, as Al Jazeera's White House correspondent, Kimberly Halkett reports, Biden's plan is similar to former President Donald Trump's, and likely to be halted by the courts.
