Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Imran Masood, who recently left the Congress, said that it is clear now that the Uttar Pradesh war is among two political parties and "we have to choose a side." His remark came after Congress leader RPN Singh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Masood said that the UP election is going to be a clear war between SP and BJP.
