The government is under increasing pressure to reveal more details about the scale of the problems facing schools and other public buildings due to dangerous concrete

Labour is calling for an urgent audit of schools to establish how many more buildings are affected by crumbling aerated concrete - with experts warning the issue could also extend beyond the education sector.

Labour MP Meg Hillier has told Sky News that still 700 thousand pupils are 'currently being taught in inadequate buildings.'
