Unsafe concrete has been detected in hospitals, courts and a shopping centre, and could be present in countless other public buildings across the UK.

Reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) has already been identified in 156 schools in England, with many facing partial closures ahead of the start of the school year - but the issue could turn out to be far more widespread.
