Hong Kong has seen a year of pro-democracy demonstrations after China passed a controversial national security law which reduced Hong Kong’s autonomy and made it easier to punish demonstrators.

Just recently three prominent activists were sentenced to jail for their involvement in protests last year.

We’ve been meeting some protesters who have been explaining that their strategies that they use actually come from multiplayer online games.
