A United Nations report finds that Israeli occupation of Palestine is 'indistinguishable from settler colonialism.' The report also finds that the Israeli occupation is illegal and unlawful under international law.

Israel's envoy to the UN accuses the UN inquiry panel of anti-semitism over allegations that Israel violated international law. The former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has rejected Israeli criticisms of the panel.

Al Jazeera speaks to Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967, that has authored the UN report.
