Ukrainians make music, not war with "cleanup raves" amid Russia's invasion

As Ukrainian civilians clear and clean communities devastated by Russia's war, young people are using dance and music to fill themselves with hope and motivation after they work.

A new social event for youth is taking off in the war-damaged country. It's not exactly the club scene but organizers from 'Repair Together' put out the call for loads of young people to show up ready to work, vibe and dance.

Ten events have been held so far and the group hopes to go from cleaning up destroyed homes to rebuilding.

Crystal Goomansingh attended one of the "clean-up raves" in the Chernihiv region, and speaks with volunteers about what has them raving to rebuild.
