Western leaders have been meeting at the Global Security Conference in Munich with the issue of supplying fighter jets to Ukraine top of the agenda.

Speaking outside the conference, General David Petraeus told Sky News the allies knew there was "no alternative" to giving Kyiv modern Western aircraft if Russia was to be defeated.
