The World Food Programme has warned of a catastrophe in food supply chains as a consequence of the war in Ukraine.

There is reported to be 25 million tons of grain stuck in Ukraine because of the Russian conflict, and a further 70-100 million tons is yet to be harvested this year with nowhere to go.
