For several months, clashes along the frontlines of the Russia-Ukraine war have intensified, notably in the Donetsk region – a territory Russia last year tried to claim it had annexed. The Ukrainian army is trying to hold the defensive line before launching an expected counterattack. The town of Vuhledar has seen fierce tank battles, with Ukrainian troops in the city preventing advances by the Russian military.
