Kyiv has called for a joint investigation into the explosion in Poland that killed two people, saying they have evidence of "Russian trace" without offering details to the public. Ukraine on Wednesday requested "immediate access" to the site in Przewodow in eastern Poland, where the explosion occurred.

Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, said Ukraine has evidence of a "Russian trace," without providing evidence. Danilov called for a "joint examination" of the missiles that crashed in Poland, saying Kyiv was ready to hand over information to Kyiv's partners.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said he has no "doubt that this is not our missile," and reiterated that it was a Russian missile that hit Poland. Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda said it was "highly probable" that the explosion near the Polish-Ukrainian border was caused by a Ukrainian air defense missile.
