Poland's President Andrzej Duda said along with the country's own investigation, Ukraine and the United States are doing their own investigations regarding the missile strike which killed two people in a Polish village close to the Ukrainian border earlier in the week.
Speaking on a visit to the site of the blast in the village of Przewodow, southeastern Poland, President Duda said "everyone wants to see the evidence for themselves."
Duda also said it was "not a surprise to anyone that there are emotions" after his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, contested statements by Poland and NATO saying the missile was likely a stray Ukrainian air defence rocket.
