Planes, trains and automobiles were dealing with disruptions across England over the weekend after a cold snap left snow and ice blanketing parts of England, with the country seeing its coldest night of the year.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice in London and southeast England, with ice and fog warnings in other parts of the country.

The snow also caused headaches for commuters and holidaymakers, with flights and trains seeing cancellations or delays. Drivers also were left at a standstill on the M25 highway.

Some Brits, however, tried to enjoy the weather with kids and adults taking to parks to make snowmen, toboggan down hills, have snowball fights and cross-country ski, while some dogs even got to frolick in the wintry weather.
