Almost 200 British army personnel will be called up from Monday to deliver fuel to petrol stations.
The United Kingdom is in the grip of fuel shortages, with a lack of tanker drivers provoking panic buying.
The government has tried to entice foreign drivers with special visas, but as Al Jazeera's Neave Barker reports, the deal may not be tempting enough.
