Former International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell joins the UN in strongly condemning the UK's broken promises on aid.

The UK put that 0.7% of GDP would go to international aid into law, but that promise was broken without a vote of MPs, says Mr Mitchell.

The Conservative manifesto at the last election contained the same promise, he added.
