The European football's governing body UEFA says plans for a rival Super League are a "disgraceful and self-serving proposal" after 12 of Europe's top football clubs announced their intention to join the alternative championship.
UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin said the clubs and players concerned could be banned from all of its competitions.
The US investment bank JP Morgan is financing the new league.
